Dear NHS concert ticket holder,

It has become apparent and from feedback we have been receiving from some of you that now is not the best time to be proceeding with Del Amitri’s ”Celebration and Thanks” NHS concert this Sunday at Barrowland.

The concert is being moved to next year and we will be back in touch with a rearranged date when conditions will be hopefully more conducive for all to enjoy the party night you truly deserve.

So Happy Christmas from Regular Music and Del Amitri and may we all stay safe over this period. We look forward to seeing you all for that party sometime in the New Year.

  1. Hi,
Hoping you will be able to provide some clarity on this. Will this be extended to the other planned Del Amitri gigs? And if not what is the refund policy surrounding this now that social distancing has become a requirement?

    1. At present the only show postponed is the NHS show due to NHS staff being at risk during another rise in CV19.

All refunds are from point of purchase.

If anything changes will will post it as soon as we get it.

      1. Let’s hope the guys see sense and postpone as I like many will not attend under current situation. Matter of priorities.

  3. Myself and my friend work for the NHS and have booked tickets for 21/12 as we missed out on the NHS gig.
With the announcements today of minimising mixing to 3 households before Christmas will this concert go ahead. With the nature of our work we are anxious about attending.

    1. At present the only gig that is postponed is the Del Amitri NHS show.

If anything changes we will inform people soonest

  4. All Del Amitri gigs should be cancelled. It’s not just NHS staff at risk, Scottish government and Scottish public health have clearly issued guidance today indicating that indoor mixing should be limited to a max of 3 households, what precautions are the venue and promoter putting in place to comply with the guidance and protect the public health of all those attdnding

    1. At present the only gig that is postponed is the Del Amitri NHS show.

The venue and promoters are and will follow all Government mandates, and at present there are no mandates on gigs.

We strongly request that even if you are fully vaccinated that you take a LFT within 24 hours of attending any show and wear a mask!

We’re very sorry but we’ve had to take the incredibly hard decision to today postpone all the remaining Scottish shows on this UK run, including Stirling tonight, Edinburgh tomorrow and Glasgow on Monday and Tuesday. On seeing the rapidly rising infection levels, and taking guidance it’s clearly the best thing for us all.

We’re absolutely gutted to be doing this, but at the same time don’t want contribute in any way to ruining everyone’s Christmases, by encouraging people to come out and see us.

Please hold on to your tickets and we hope to re-schedule these shows just as soon as we can, more details on that very soon

Have a happy and healthy Christmas and let’s hope for better things in ’22.

      Del Amitri x.

  5. I too am not comfortable going to a concert just now. Really looking forward to this but very worried. Would prefer if it were rescheduled. Big concern is that this concert is so close to Christmas, if anyone contracts COVID at the concert, they could pass it on to frail or vulnerable family members over Christmas dinner before becoming symptomatic.
